FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to help you decide if Job Hub is the right fit for your defense tech job search workflow.

What is Job Hub?

Job Hub is a website for tracking jobs you want to apply to and applications you have already sent. Instead of manually checking company sites and managing a spreadsheet, you can review recently posted roles in one place and keep a clear record so you do not miss opportunities or apply to the same job twice.

Who is Job Hub for?

Job Hub is for people targeting defense tech companies. It helps you streamline the search process so you can spend more time improving your applications and less time hunting down openings.

Why would I use Job Hub if I can track jobs myself?

You can track jobs yourself, but Job Hub makes that process much faster. You can quickly categorize roles as Want To Apply or Will Not Apply, and when you return to the Categorize page you only see new roles you have not handled yet. That means less time re-reviewing the same postings across multiple job boards and more time on applications that matter.

How does it work?

Job Hub scrapes job information from a selected set of company career sites, stores that data in a database, and presents it in a streamlined interface so you can move through your job search faster.

Why would I not use other job websites?

Most job websites focus on networking and broad search, but they are not built around tracking your application pipeline end to end. Job Hub is designed specifically for identifying, sorting, and tracking applications, and it aims to reduce ghost listings by pulling directly from company career pages and showing when jobs were posted.

What companies are included in the website?

The website currently tracks roles from this company set: Anduril, Beta, Vannevar Labs, Gecko Robotics, Shield AI, Saronic Technologies. The focus is on defense tech hiring, and the list can expand over time as new sources are added.

How often is data refreshed?

Daily. You can see the last scrape timestamp in the top-right area of your dashboard.

Will I know when jobs are no longer available?

Yes. Jobs that are no longer active are removed from the new-job flow so you can stay focused on live roles. If you already marked a role as Want To Apply or Applied, it remains visible there with an inactive indicator so you can reprioritize quickly.

Is my data shared or sold?

No. Your data is not sold or shared, and your tracking information is private to your account.

Does this store my resume?

No. Job Hub is built for discovering and tracking applications, not for storing resumes or creating application materials.
